It fits perfectly in the palm of my hands which are small, meaning for me its the perfect length! I use this at work on a daily basis and I just love that it has a locking mechanism on the side so i can lock it into place when its open (hardly ever do as it locks into place just fine) and it locks into place when closed so it doesn't accidentally open if it were to fall out of my pocket (has happened on other knives I own). The edge of the blade is just so sharp! I initially got this because when covid hit I could no longer get my gel manicure and my original nails were just too week to close my favorite knife which now has to stay at home. Push it to the left with you index finger and VERY slowly and carefully start to push the blade forward on the blunt side with your other hand. The black piece with the teeth was blocking the blade from folding back up. Moving it to the left give the blade room to fold back into the grip. Just don't slam the blade down into your right hand/finders. Once you move the blade a little you no longer need to push the teeth piece away. **Q: is it made in the us** A: This knife is made in Taiwan. **Q: Will it come in hot pink or light pink? Both colors are pictured.** A: It is a medium pink, closer to the first picture. When they did the close up picture it brightened the color. **Q: Is this knife spring assist? Because the one I received was not.** A: The M.A.G.I.C Assisted Opening should have a mechanism to snap the knife open once you've started it moving. Wanted a knife that she could easily open with one hand and that fit in her hand comfortably. This proved to be an excellent choice. First off she loves pink and the design of the handle. It's comfortable and has nice linerlock with an extra safety switch. It has a solid feel with very little play in the blade. My only reservation was the price...$30 is alot for such a small knife.
