Speed restricted if used - so does not matter the engine / power source. Assuming you can find source of puncture in tread - no reason I can think of why you cannot use them. I keep some in car and motorbike. Alternative is the Stop and Go puncture repair kit also sold on Amazon. Fix by side of road but in both cases need tyre inflator. Check out YouTube as to how to use. I have used stop and go plugs and it’s really effective. **Q: Do you need to lube these? With a rubber solution glie or something?** A: Not necessarily but I’d recommend using rubber solution with it **Q: Can this be used if there is a screw in the wall of the tyre?** A: No..... side wall punctures are not repairable (10yrs in retail tyre industry) These are basically rubber coated screws that should be labeled "emergency get you home" at best. If the puncture is within the central 3/4 of tread then a professional repair could be sort after. **Q: Why sell them here in the uk if they are not legal to use here** A: I would rather be able to do a temporary repair on the side of the road and get my car and Family home or to safety than worry about the legality of the use of a repair kit. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Following a rear wheel puncture, this product had me riding again literally within 5 minutes. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 September 2025* Bought this item around 10 months ago along with one of the small rechargeable tyre inflators. I wanted to keep them under my motorbike seat on a 'just in case' basis, but thinking I would never need them. Well, today I needed them after getting a rear wheel puncture. I have to say that this product worked fantastically well. Once I located the hole/puncture, I was literally back on the road riding within 5 minutes. The screw entered the hole and screwed in extremely easily. I was worried about it sticking out of the surface of the tyre, but once the head was flush with the surface, an extra couple of turns made the screw head sink beneath the tyre surface, so you could only see a shallow hole where it had gone in. The tyre reinflated easily, first time, and the bike took me the remaining 25 miles home that I needed. For the small cost of both the items (repair kit and inflator), this has to be the best small investment I've made for the bike, and it paid off in spades when needed. Highly recommended.
