It does the job, has a good interface which makes setting your temps and timing easy, and has the ability to save presets as well for various filament types. There is a fan in it to circulate the warm air. The display / control panel lets you select presets for the type of material you're drying, but you can change the temperature setting and the drying time. Current temperature, set temperature, relative humidity, and drying time remaining are all displayed. There are green LEDs, for effect, to indicate it's running, but they can be turned off. The display has a backlight that comes on when you touch the controls, but goes out after a few minutes of not being used. There are rollers in the bottom to support a filament spool. This allows filament to be fed through one of the small holes in the top, so you can feed filament directly to your printer while you're drying it. I found this feature very useful. The dryer seems to do a good job of removing moisture from my filament, but based on the high humidity reading on the display, it seems to trap the moisture inside the dryer. I just printed an adjustable spacer to hold the lid ajar a few millimeters. Overall, I'm very happy with the sale price I paid, the performance and the convenience of this unit. I can hear the fan running in the next room, if I listen for it.
