Works great. **Q: Can i cut a 12 inch log in half horizontally?** A: Yes **Q: How long of a log does it cut?** A: It will cut a log as long as the rail system you are operating it on. You must have a rail system to make your first cut. There are You-tube videos to help with what you need to do.
