These shelf brackets are very sturdy and are being used to repair glass shelf systems. Previously, I was purchasing chrome brackets similarly designed, but made with weak chrome metal. Those brackets were not purchased thru desertcart and were just poor quality that kept breaking when a little weight was put on the shelf.
