My very first impression was that I loved the flavor. My second impression was salty. I looked at the label and one stick has 400 mg of sodium. Honestly, I don't know how that compares to other beef sticks but it seems like an awful lot. My palate thinks they could cut the sodium by at least 25% and they'd still be great. So, I like that they don't have nitrates/nitrites but the sodium is high.
