Review: Kudos Shipping From Japan - Bought this item could not find in local stores. Shipped all way from Japan. And you know what they did not charge a phenomenal amount like they do here in the U.S. for shipping etc. I paid I think like 8.00 a package got two very reasonable for item I could not locate here. Phenomenal Gravy!!! The best I have ever had and used in my stews and soups! Just takes a few weeks which is not a bother for something I want to keep in my pantry.

**Q: is this for Japanese Curry?**
A: Nope, this isn't for Japanese curry. You are looking for the S&B Curry powder or the S&B Golden Curry sauce mixes. This uses a roux so it tastes different.

**Q: Which part of the beef is the best to go with this?**
A: I make this with thin cut beef of rib eye. You can find them at Korean/Oriental store.

**Q: Does anyone know how much MSG is in this?**
A: It is listed under the ingredients list, but not how much. Given that saturated fat is 3.5 g and sodium is 670 mg (0.67 g), and protein is 1.0 g, the amount is 4-5 g per package weight. That's a rough estimate if I figured correctly.

**Q: can this be used for Omurice?**
A: I don't think so.  The omurice I've seen has a red sauce (ketchup?).

Bought this item could not find in local stores. Shipped all way from Japan. Not like a beef stew flavor but more like a demi glace sauce flavor. I sometimes use it for the sauce over the hamburger as gravy, too. It’s a nice change from the beef stew.
