If you have a salon gel mani then you should go to the salon to have it removed. There are at home tricks but you need to be careful not to mess up your nails **Q: Can you use it over a french manicure? Will it prevent yellowing?** A: Yes, you most definitely use it over any color. I have used it over french manicures, reds, neutrals, etc. and I've never experienced any yellowing with my nail color. One thing I can say, is it definitely works better with other Essie nail polishes...absolutely no chipping! However, it still prevents major chipping with other brands and prolongs the nail color. **Q: I prefer clear polish. Can this be used by itself or with only a base coat?** A: I do not see why you could not use it by itself.
