Review: Must have for new moms - LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. This mat is a great buy and must have for new parents. We were going over to my in-laws almost every weekend for a while and I wanted something I could put down on the floor and fold all of our babe’s toys up in. This play mat bag seemed almost to good to be true. The material is sturdy and great. It’s breathable too so works wonders for tummy time. The fabric is durable, but comfortable for our baby. The design is adorable too, I have received so many compliments. I just hang this on the door handle of her closet and we grab it & go anytime we are going to be somewhere for a day. I imagine it will be great for traveling too. Now I don’t have to stuff a small lightweight blanket in the baby bag for floor play, this mat bag does it all!! We love it. It would also be a great gift for new moms.

**Q: Is this good for outside at a park or does it soak up all the moisture from the ground?**
A: I wouldnt say its absorbent but I also wouldnt say its water resistant! A better purchase for that purpose would be an outdoor picnic blanket with a lined back! They sell them on Amazon ;)

**Q: Parents, could you help - how do you fold this into a bag? I find it hard to fold.**
A: I wouldn't say it's a bag necessarily but it just folds on itself and stays folded with the Velcro

**Q: Is this padded?**
A: No it is not padded, the sides do stick up, and it is a heavy material.

**Q: Is this product useful once baby can crawl or no?**
A: Yes. My daughter is 16 months now and I still use it.  She will sit and play on it, but mostly I find it convenient to pack some toys and books for when she goes to a sitter, or has to come to work with me. It makes clean up really easy.  Just fold it and go.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great with one design flaw

This mat is durable (canvas material so we lay a blanket over it for softness). The size is plenty of room to play on without taking up too much floor space. I love the concept behind being able to just fold everything in, except that it leaves rough velcro on the inner lip of the mat where baby would brush against when she reaches the edge on those spots. Perhaps the manufacturer should consider snaps instead? Overall, it works for us since we aren’t traveling with it and we can just fold it over on itself to move out of the way.
