Should be bigger. You can sharpen the blades onthe cutter and that would help. But do this... cut the bottom of melin flat - so you can stand up. Cut off the top flat so it's easier to get the cutter started. See video. Put melon on low table so you can get your weight force over the cutter. Enjoy!
