Review: Not what I was expecting - This sounded intriguing, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Here's the gist of what the device does, since the listing doesn't really explain it. At the bottom, you have a reservoir that you are supposed to use their "Vina Drip Serum". I didn't have this, so I tried using it with just water, then later with some diluted facial cleanser. You then have a silicone suction cup with a swirling pattern and 2 holes, one at each end of the swirl. When you press this against your face and turn it on, it creates a suction that also causes the serum/water/cleaner to travel from 1 hole to the other inside the suction cup. The idea is that this crates suction on your pores, then the serum/water/cleaner goes into the pore and out the other hole and into the other side of the reservoir for used water. A neat concept, but maybe one that is trying too hard.. literally and figuratively. I found that the suction cup often just stuck to one spot and I couldn't slide it around over may face. I'm also not sure if you are supposed to do it this way, or just perform suction cleaning over one spot at a time. Either way, the latter is how it ended up for me. It was just tedious and I didn't notice a dramatic improvement to my pores. My face did not feel cleaner after using it... it just had several circle marks everywhere. I think maybe this would be good if you get clogged pores, maybe on your nose, and you could use this to target a small area.. Otherwise, it's just too much time and hassle for minimal results.
Review: Poor Quality - I loved the idea of this and was excited to use the device. The first use was successful. After using a couple of times the silicone tip wouldn’t stay on during the session. I tried switching out the tips, but the same issue kept occurring. I’m so bummed because I enjoyed using this device, but now it’s pointless since the tip won’t stay on. I wish I could return or exchange this item, but it’s been longer than 30 days.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Not what I was expecting

I loved the idea of this and was excited to use the device. The first use was successful. After using a couple of times the silicone tip wouldn’t stay on during the session. I tried switching out the tips, but the same issue kept occurring. I’m so bummed because I enjoyed using this device, but now it’s pointless since the tip won’t stay on. ### ⭐⭐ Mega Suction. I’m Not in Love
*by S***R on September 20, 2022*

I was excited to try the Vina, but I was also cautious. Before using it I watched the few videos I could find about it online. I also read all the reviews. I purchased the Vina Drip Hydrating Serum formulated especially for the device after reading that water and probably other serums wouldn’t work (the device does not come with Vina Drip). When my Vina arrived I was ready! Or so I thought… To begin with there are two chambers for liquid. One is for adding fresh Vina Drip, the secondary chamber is for the gunk that gets sucked back up from your face. You will need a tiny funnel or container with a pour spout to get your Vina Drip into the chamber. I tried pouring my Vina Drip in without either of these. Even though I was being very careful, excess liquid spilled over the side. Once I had serum in the chamber I selected a silicon tip. There a 3 tips to choose from - a small one for around your nose and mouth, a medium size one for delicate skin, and a larger size one that says it’s suitable for the whole face. I chose the middle size one. I then turned my device on while looking at my manual and realized there was a misprint in the instructions. There is a small light on the side of the device that indicates the amount of suction. Blue is for low suction. Green = medium. Red = high. Unfortunately the manual that was included said Green = low suction. This was confusing. I had to go back and watch 2 videos again to make sure I was using the lowest suction. I was thankful that I did because I think the green level would tear my face off. When I turned the device on I forgot to get the serum flowing first by dragging the device across my arm. When I touched my face the device immediately attached to my skin and wouldn’t move. I got a sizable hickey on my cheek. Once I figured out that I needed to get the serum flowing I tried again, but I still had problems with the suction tip sticking to my face and being difficult to glide over my skin. When I finished using the device it wasn’t pretty. My skin was covered in bright red streaks. I wasn’t going to give up though. I thought maybe I was somehow doing it wrong, or perhaps there was something wrong with my device. I wrote to Vanity Planet and asked them if there was a specific angle that I should be holding the device, as well as how much serum I should feel on my face. They responded by sending me a video that I’d already watched and that doesn’t answer these questions. I wrote back and thanked them for the video, but explained that I still needed help. They said that the Vina is supposed to “stick” to your skin and you should feel “a little bit” of serum. It was a vague answer, but I decided to give the device a second try. My second attempt a week later wasn’t much better. The device felt pretty dry as I tried to drag it across my face and it got stuck multiple times in the same area. I was really worried about breaking capillaries. After using the device my skin was inflamed and looked tortured (see photos - looks like a sunburn). I did the treatment just before bed. So while my skin was uncomfortable as I was falling asleep, the effect did wear off by morning. In the morning I found that my skin looked lightly resurfaced. My cheeks were just a little pink and my chest was still blotchy in a couple of areas. My skin was hydrated and soft, but I also applied hyaluronic acid to my face and a cooling sleep mask. I’m not sure that the results are better than I’d get through normal exfoliation and an overnight mask. All that said, I would not recommend this device to someone who has sensitive skin or rosacea (my skin is pretty normal). If you do decide to try the Vina, you should probably order the Vina Drip too. Make sure that you watch a couple of videos before you jump in and read the reviews so you know what to expect. Also, it’s best to do this at night or when you aren’t expecting anyone to see you. I was hoping this would work like a dream, but it wasn’t a pleasurable experience. I was surprised by how rough the suction was on my skin.
