This liquaGen RO membrane just speeds up the process. Use the waste water to water the garden! **Q: Is it rated for drinking water?** A: Don't use the DI stage and its an RO system. The parts I needed to add to this kit to convert my RODI into a BRS likewise 150 GPD RODI system ended up costing me the same as if I were to buy BRS's kit. Not a slam against anyone here, I just think the Y splitter needed to complete the conversion should have been included in this kit. And they gave me one long white hose, not three colors like shown in the illustration. Otherwise, the membrane is good quality and my system now works really well. My water doesn't start out too dirty anyway, but I get 0 TDS after the membranes if that means much to you. If you know what you're doing and are okay with purchasing a serparate Y connector, than this kit works. Otherwise, go with BRS.UPDATE: 4/1/19This company really stands by their products. They gained a star from me for their outstanding customer service. They addressed my concerns quickly and they made things right by offering to send me the parts I was missing at no cost. The product works really well and I'm quite happy.
