This brush is adequately soft on the face, and it helps produce a good lather. It also cleans out, dries, and holds up extremely well. I haven't had any shedding or bristles fall out, and its been in constant use for well over a year. I would definitely recommend if your looking for a fairly priced and very solid synthetic shaving brush.
