After trying to keep my dog away from it and failing, I finally watered it in and then my dog left it alone. I thought that would also diminish the effectiveness for the rabbit but so far so good. Repels everything and everyone but blow flies. They suddenly appeared out of nowhere and are feasting on it. My flowers smelled so sweet when I planted them yesterday. Then I read our local rabbits would love to eat them so I order this express from Amazon. This stuff smells like pig excrement. I though it was pig excrement! I think that’s why these huge flies are loving it. I later read on another comment here that it is actually pigs blood.
