## Description

Preserve meats, vegetables, and fruits with confidence! Pressure canning is the only method recommended safe by the U.S.D.A. for canning low-acid foods. This canner features an easy-to-read dial gauge to ensure accurate pressure control. Air vent/cover lock allows pressure to build only when the cover is closed properly and prevents the cover from opening until pressure is safely reduced. Canners are constructed of extra strong, warp-resistant aluminum. Includes cooking/canning rack and complete instruction/recipe book. 16 Quart Liquid Capacity (15.1 Liters).

Review: 2nd Repost - Second repost and not sure what I did incorrect. But product works fantastic as described. I did see some negatives from others on this but not sure why. The product is durable. IMPORTANT = make sure to check and tighten all screws. We failed to not check the vent lock and could not reach ambient pressure. We pulled off the lid and noticed it was not tightened al the way. So we now have a check off list on how to work. 2nd attempt worked well. The pressure and heat on a GLASS surface is alittle tricky. But this was our second time canning and if you stick with it you should be able to regulate by paying attention to the heat and pressure. As of today 1/21/22 we are now canning jam and again had NO issues. This is a solid product and I can see using this for a long time. CONS+ Package arrived beat up but the product was NOT damaged. CRITICALLY IMPORTNT !!!!= Make sure you wash this inside and out as you will find machining grey debris on it. Do not use without washing and wear gloves. Other than that if you follow the instructions you should be able to enjoy this product for a long time.

A: It hold only 6 wide mouth quart jars. Not 7 as advertised.

**Q: How tall is the Presto #01755?**
A: without the lid it is approx. 8" with the lid 10.5 to 11"

**Q: can it be used on a glass top stove**
A: Don't slide it on glass tops.  Pick it straight up and down.

**Q: Does it come with a bottom rack to keep the jars off bottom**
