No rust after 3 weeks of saltwater fishing (rinsed with fresh water after each day). Integrity of the snap and locking mechanism has yet to be compromised, compared to other internet brands. I'm still on my first swivel snap since the day I received these. With other brands on Amazon, the snaps would last only 1-2 days until the locking fold either collapses or rust/tarnish invades the surface of the snap body or internally affects the rotational function of the swivel. When I try to open the snap on them I have to use pliers because my fingernails are not strong enough. The snap on these swivels is very easy to open. That should have been my first clue. I was fishing with 15lb test line. As I brought the Walleye to the boat, it snapped free with the lure still in its mouth. The snap was pulled open and straightened.
