It definitely helps me to drift off and feels strange initially but nice and I love the heat and relaxing sounds. It is also very easy to use and I like the range of settings options and also that it tells you when it comes on or switches off if the volume is on. The massage also helps with my dry eyes. The negatives are that it is too noisy with the massage function on to use in bed when my partner is trying to sleep. Instead I wear it just before bed with the eye massage + heat + music function then wear it in bed with just the heat. It switches itself after 15 minutes at which point I take it off and can sleep. I have also had to cover the blue 'on' light with electrical tape as it is quite bright. The pressure feels strange initially but I like it now that I have become accustomed to the sensation and it feels pretty comfortable to wear. I wasn't aware how it worked when I bought it but it uses moving air pressure rather than massage 'prongs' so is safe on the eye sockets. It is very easy to use and even tells me when the battery is low. I am glad I got the version with the remote as I can peek at it when wearing the mask to change settings. It is otherwise the same as the basic model, which would have been absolutely fine too, as there are buttons on the mask with very slightly raised symbols denoting the function of each button.
