These other mats were perfect in everyway. Size was as advertised, the dots on the back have not come off at all in the wash, and they were even a bit thicker than the first one (which was already fine padding wise). I am thinking that first one was a fluke or maybe even a knock off that was accidently sent by amazon. To me this in now a 5 star mat for the playpens I have. I got the 71X59 size mat, and the tag with the packaging said 71X59 so I know I wasn't sent the wrong size. Unfortunately it did not come true to size, and doesn't fill my play yard like other buyers have shown theirs do in pictures. Mine is an inch short on all sides if I put the blanket in the middle, leaving an inch gap unpadded on all the sides of the play yard floor. I measured the yard and it's a true 71X59, but the blanket is measuring at more of a 69 X 57. I love it otherwise, mine came with padding unlike some of the complaints, just wish it fit true to size.
