It probably depends if they are too thick or too wide. If you are having trouble getting your cover over the foam put the foam in a plastic bag slip your cover over it you can leave the plastic on it or pull it off and then zip it shut. **Q: With this type of cushion material is it best to flip and turn regularly to extend its firmness or leave it alone in one position?** A: I bought mine in the summer of 2016. I flip them occasionally. They are holding up very well. I am very pleased with the quality. **Q: Is it slow rising?** A: I would say yes. It does compress when you sitand rise when you stand. It comes back in a reasonable fashion. **Q: Can you cut this to fit your sofa cushions?** A: I found that this was close enough to my standard size cushions that just stuffing it into the pillowcase was enough to disguise any difference in sizes.
