## Description

Review: Works but bottle doesn't seal tightly - This stuff does seem to work very well to kill buckthorn. I haven't seen any new stems sprouting from stumps I've treated. I've treated several ranging from under an inch up to about 3 inches diameter. HOWEVER I have one gripe about this product that I find unacceptable. The cap is not water tight! I think it is reasonable to expect that a hazardous chemical such as this would have a cap that does not leak. I'm assuming that it is just a defect with this particular bottle and maybe my review will get the attention of someone who can do a quality control check and make sure the issue isn't widespread. Thank you.

**Q: Will this kill grass?  I have extensive poison ivy roots in a grassy area in a corner of my property?**
A: It will NOT kill grass.  I have over sprayed multiple times and it is harmless to grass (St. Augustine and Bermuda both - can't speak for any other species of grass.)

**Q: What percentage of triclopyr is in it?**
A: The percentage of triclopyr in Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer is 8.8%.

**Q: Can this be applied to sucker trees?**
A: It will kill (or severely damage) the tree if you do.  Google "sucker stopper".  There is a product made just for to stop suckers from growing without harming the plant.  Good Luck.

**Q: Can you use during rainy season?**
A: It better put on dry ground just before light rain comes .

I was told with an online search for stump killers that this was the best product. I have tried the powder kind in the past with no success. So far, this liquid was easy to use and appears to have done the trick in killing the main trunk of a HUGE tree that I cut down.
