Each painting is personally signed by the artist.   Khairy brings to you Nusantara's most beautiful and unique cultures. The ancient Indonesian art of shadow play or "Wayang Kulit" is a unique combination of ritual, lesson, and entertainment. Wayang kulit performance of Indonesia is among the greatest story-telling traditions in the world and lies close to the heart of Javanese culture. In the old languages, the term Wayang reportedly originates from two earlier words: Waya = ancestors descending, and Ang = a symbol.   Khairy paints a picture of the shadow puppets doing a live performance. Wayang Kulit is a traditional theater art-form using puppets and shadow-play to tell the epic tales of the ancient classical Hindu legends, Mahabharata and Ramayana.
