A: The chart with specifications provides the power recommendations. Maximum is different depending on gear ratio

**Q: What is the backlash specification on this unit?**
A: Have used 5 of these. Can not detect any backlash. Gearboxes are very well made and different motor mountings are available. We use these on CNC drives with100 or so cycles daily and have not had any problems.

### ⭐ The worm gear doesn't lock

Looks solid but did not serve it's purpose. My understanding of worm gears is that you can (should be able to) turn the gear from one side only - the worm gear itself. Turns out that I can turn this one from either side! Completely defeated my purpose for buying it. I didn't even realize it until it was too late. Maybe some worm gears are like that. But they should say so.
