## Description

TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Paint gives aluminum and galvanized metal boats a corrosion-resistant, non-reflective low-sheen finish. While most marine paints won't stick very well, TotalBoat is specifically formulated for aluminum, making it ideal for your jon boat, duck boat, flat bottom boats, bass boats, canoe, dinghy, pontoon boat, trailers, houseboats, and other aluminum boats or boat parts, such as railings and spars. It also comes in camo colors that you can apply one layer at a time for a custom camouflage pattern to improve concealment in natural settings. Or mix colors for a more realistic blend for your particular hunting or fishing area to conceal your duck or hunting blind, tree stands and ladders.Apply directly to metal as a topcoat, or use as a primer and apply the topcoat of your choice. This easy-to-use water-based polyurethane can be applied directly to prepared substrates with a brush, roller or spray gun. No need to etch or prime first, saving time and effort. You'll also finish faster because Aluminum Boat paint dries extremely fast; overcoat in just 1 hour at 72 degrees F without sanding between coats. Before the final coat, wait 12 hours, sand lightly and remove residue. Let the final coat dry for 48 hours, and you're ready to put the boat in the water.TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Paint can be used above or below the waterline on boats used in fresh or salt water. Review: First my rant: There is no excuse for shipping paint in cans like this and by reading the reviews here, I'm not the only one who receive damaged cans. Do Better ! 14' x 36" bottom Jon boat painted inside and out. The paint is very good and applies easily. I prepped the boat and applied 3 coats of aluminum primer. Then applied 3 coats of the Total Boat paint. 2nd coat will be even in color. I used a roller on large areas and and a good brush in tight areas. Paint applies evenly and levels itself out very shortly after applying. One gal did the coat with a little left over. I did not cut it as it goes a long way. Color is more of a "stone" but it looks good and departs from the old Jon boat green or tan. Time will tell on durability but with 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint I'm expecting good results.

Works ok. I prepped my aluminum boat pretty well and for the most part the paint did fine, but in a few places, it did not stick so well. I wish it stuck on better. It was easy to put on and did the job with 2 thin coats. Pretty good value
