Its a bit of a squeeze but I can get them in there. I LOVE these as my smoothie cups because they fit in the drink holders in my Jeep Grand Cherokee (I use the 24 oz tall jars with wide mouth). I also use just the sipper part of the lid without straw when I drink tea in them and that works well too. I needed a solution for water cups so that the children wouldn't use a new cup each time they got a drink of water. I also got some cup ID bands so each child would know which cup was theirs. The little kids can use jelly jars and the big kids use pint jars. They will spill if tipped over, but they are not meant to be spill proof. They are very easy to clean because it's just one solid piece I'm very happy with them!
