Originally developed by the Cleveland Pneumatic Tool Company, 1/8'' Clecos have been a staple for the aerospace and aviation industries for decades. However, 1/8'' Cleco Fasteners can be used for a variety of applications, including automotive body work, general manufacturing, fiberglass installation, or any metal panels that need to be temporarily yet securely fastened together. 1/8'' Cleco Fasteners feature a steel body construction and spring-loaded plunger, and are a simple, inexpensive alternative to competitive fasteners. Able to apply up to 25 pounds of force per fastener, 1/8'' Clecos are easily operated by using the specially designed Cleco Pliers. A specially designed ''body seat'' holds the fastener in place while the plunger is depressed.
