Review: Good product - I did not install this in a doorway but in a location where studs were located. It was easy to install. It is working out very well in this location as my son has more room to swing and I do not have to be concerned about him crashing into other walls or furniture. My son enjoys flipping on it. Because he swings while flipping, I have had to add extra mats to cover a larger area as he does not always land the dismount.
Review: One of the best purchases I have ever made - My seven year-old is really into gymnastics. I thought this bar/rings would be good for in her doorway in the winter. She uses it daily for hours. It's very sturdy and safe. Our nine year-old also uses it quite a bit. I bought it for a Christmas present and already feel like I got my money's worth out of it!

**Q: Is the door able to be shut after installing?**
A: In most standard doorways the door can be closed with the bar installed. The brackets are 2-1/4" wide, you can verify that you have enough space for the bar. I hope it helps.

**Q: What is the weight limit of the kids bar and rings?**
A: It’s up to 220 pounds. I needed to know that too as my niece is 175

**Q: My kid loves this, but swings very high/fast and has hit the doorframe a few times.  any ideas on how to keep the straps centered / cushion door frame**
A: My husband suggests putting automotive heavy duty nylon tiewraps around the bar where the straps sit -- where you don't want them to slide sideways. Tiewraps can be purchased at an automotive supply store or even possibly Walmart.

**Q: what are the dimensions of the mounting bracket?**
A: The mounting brackets themselves are 2"x2" square and the the bar can be mounted anywhere from 24" to 36" apart although we noticed that the farther apart they are the more the bar will bow in the middle.

We had trouble with the bar extending as it should but DreamGym replaced it promptly. I literally cannot keep my 4 and 8 year old children off of this. They are both in gymnastics and I have seen such an increase in strength in my 4 year old in the 2 months since we hung this up as she is on it from the moment she wakes until bedtime. Even my 1 year old is beginning to hang from the rings! Keeps them all busy throughout the day when we are stuck inside.
