The backers were in a seperate package which makes finding them easy. The metal seems quality. They all arived in good shape - no duds. The previous setting tool I had works. However, the outside diameter is only 7/16" with only a thin bit of gripping material as opposed to the 5/8" of my previous ones. The small diameter means there is very little grabbing of the fabric, and that these probably need a stiff backer such as vinyl or teflon sewn in to avoid tearing out of the fabric. The thin diameter means you must be very accurate when making your initial hole, actually make it a bit undersized and squeeze these in, or else they won't have anythgin to grab to.
