You cannot make a good tea without a press like this because the first thing you have to do is dump the first poouring of water since it opens up the tea leaves.You can get a strainer for cheaper but that gets very messy and you end up wasting alot of tea since with this you can just leave the tea leaves inside a clean sealed container for the next use. I only need to change out my leaves after 5-6 times.... So the flavor stays for 2 whole days!
