**Q: How big is this**
A: They are about 6 inches!

**Q: Why does this toy have such a terrible reputation regarding sound?**
A: House finch's sound does not work well. I believe most of themail are difective.  We bought one, and we had to exchange very soon for a new one, because it stopped working within a couple of days. A new one lasted for several months, and stopped working as well. Meanwhile other toy  birds from Wild Republic Audubon Birds work perfectly.

**Q: The item labelled eastern bluebird is an american goldfinch!  please fix the label for the goldfinch and please add an actual eastern bluebird, thanks**
A: Thank you for pointing this out and hopefully it can be fixed, thank you again, Jenn, Always-Open.

**Q: How do you change the batteries?**
A: It's not designed such that the batteries can be replaced.  I suppose they assume you will throw it away once the battery dies?  Anyway, with some sewing skill a seam can be ripped open enough to take out the module inside, then the module can be unscrewed (just a single small Phillips screw).  There are three small coin cells inside that can be replaced.  screw the module back together, insert it back into the bird, and sew it back together.
