Very many "silk" scarves turn out to be polyester, but this looks and feels like the real thing. The print and the quality of the fabric is beautiful. It's true, as some reviewers have noted, that the print is only on one side, but for me that is a minor issue when you consider that the scarf is only a few pounds more expensive than many of the fake silk scarves, and it is so much nicer than those. The packaging it comes in is gorgeous. It's in a high quality paper envelope inside a zip-lock bag with tags so you could give it as a gift and present it exactly as it is without any further wrapping. In a marketplace where it feels like pot-luck whether "100% silk" will turn out to be "100% polyester", I have come to trust this brand to send products that are what they say they are. Highly recommended.
