The concept is the same except it's totally safe for your shower doors. It definitely help prevent the scrum on the doors. It keep you glass clear. **Q: Does it produce fumes?** A: Yes, strong fumes. Bottle recommends to use in a ventilated area which is really hard inside a shower stall. If you have any respiratory issues or other medical problems, be very careful using this. I had the fan on and had a coughing fit in seconds. When applying wear some Medical/Mask & Some googles when applying in a shower & bathroom with little or poor venting! It does irritate the eyes and says so on the bottle! I ran the Bath fan to help pull the fumes out when applying! It really WORK WELL!
