Oh and DX5 uses buttons to change stitch length whereas the DX7 uses a dial. All other specs, stitch speed, motor, etc are the same. After comparing both for some time I went with the DX5, because 185 stitches is already more than I’ll ever use for garments or quilting, and I like buttons. The quilting table would be nice but can be purchased separately. The DX5 is by far the most amazing machine I’ve ever sewn on, and a year in I highly recommend it! **Q: Where is this model manufactured?** A: This model was made in Vietnam. **Q: Free motion regulated stitches capable?** A: Stitches are regulated by how fast or slow you move the fabric. This is a great machine. **Q: Warranty coverage?** A: Hi Adam, The warranty for the Juki's is 1.for a limited warranty period of two years on motors, light assembly, wiring, switches, circuit boards and speed control: and 2. for a limited warranty period of 5 years on all other parts.
