The date code can be found on the product label in the bottom right hand corner - see first three digits. (See image for clarification.)The CV-10 has is 1/4-inch MNPT x 3/8-inch Barbed. The part number is 599065. Check valves prevent water from backing into the pump causing the pump to fast cycle (turn on/off quickly) which can shorten the lifespan of the motor.If you have purchased a VCMA with a date code later than 25J (ie, 25K, 25L, etc.) please see Little Giant 599066 CV-10S. When diagnosing, make sure that the pump does not squirt you in the face. Our check valve broke off because of bad placement of pump and the drain tube was old and getting stiff. Thought I had to buy a whole new pump but this replaced the old one that broke with no issues. Our pump is a Wayne pump and they don’t make them anymore and are hard to find. This was an easy fix.
