A unique cutting board specifically made to hold the ulu knife in place rather than have it rest on the counter. The cutting board has a small shallow depression to help keep food "centered" while you dice away at whatever you're cutting. My relatives are impressed with the Ulu knife's curved blade and love the way the small cutting board compliments the curved blade. Truly a unique work of art!

    Efficient yet with Durability Question

The Ulu knife fits precisely to the block and the storage slot is a great feature.  Chopping or slicing items is efficient.  I've only used it a dozen or so instances since I received it; the only observation the reader should take note of is the color of the food item stays in the unfinished bowl section.  I chopped quite an amount of chives and it took a bit of effort to clean the green color out.  My outstanding question, that will be answered in time, is if the bowl will maintain the curvature with scrubbing.
