Alright but do not really have removable blades.
I bought this six pack of fans for a new build. Here is my experience.Even though the RGB function can be controlled by the motherboard you have to hook up the IR receiver for the remote to control the fan speed. Out of the box they run at a very slow speed and don't move much air.I also experienced a problem where motherboard control was half as bright as when I used the remote and took manual control of the lights. Not sure if that was the kit or my motherboard though. The real problem is the quality and cleaning of the fans. The fans ran fine for about a month, but at the 1 month mark I noticed that one of the fans had a wobble and would make noise. Taping the case would resolve the problem for about an hour then the noise was back. It wasn't loud, but was annoying. After 2 months several of the fans were making noise. I decided maybe cleaning the dust off of the fans might resolve some of the wobble and quiet the fans. I tried to detach the blades to clean. There are no instructions for this, just a graphic showing the blades being pushed out of the housing. Pushing the blade out does detach them, but it does so by breaking a small clip that normally would hold the blade in. After breaking a segment off of 1 of the 3 blades I was trying to clean I stopped and just cleaned and put back in place the 2 that were intact. The magnet on the motor seems to hold the blade in. After restarting my PC (missing 1 blade at this time) the fans functioned but they wobbled worse than before. Lots of noise. I suspect that small clip actually kept the shaft in place in the motor. Without it the wobble got worse. At the 3 month mark (still minus a fan) I was putting a box down on my desk, and the vibration of dropping the box must have caused the computer to move. I heard a crashing noise from the case and see fan parts laying on the bottom of the case. The vibration of dropping the box on the desk had caused one of the fans on the top to slip past the magnet holding it in, turning the blade into a plastic throwing star moving at speed around the inside of my case. Not only did that blade lose an element as it went crashing down it broke an element off of another blade and scratched the inside of the window.I reached out to Emermax and they quickly replaces the now 3 blades that were damaged. Those work, but again without the clips they wobble and I am just waiting for one of the upper fans to go all ninja and take out other components. So I can't say for sure if the blades are really intended to be removed. Maybe there is some super secret way to do that without breaking those small clips. Regardless for me these are just not worth the hassle. I have ordered replacement fans from another vendor.

Crossing Fingers...
So at the time of purchase this 6 pack was heavily discounted and my gf and I were compiling a list of items to purchase for his/hers pc builds. We had seen reviews of Enermax's AIO and loved their fan design, and came across these. We bought two sets before reading the reviews...and well we were dreading how they would be after seeing so much negativity. I am happy to report that one month in, my set of fans seem to hold up. The colors are nice and vibrant, they stay relatively quiet and are only audible with all 6 kicked to their max speed, but they are not without faults. Some occasionally stop spinning completely and only kick back on when I mess with their speed settings on the included controller. Also their "motherboard" sync option is lackluster. While it responds to Asus Aura, they become very dim, as if they were on their lowest setting. Nothing within Asus Aura makes them any brighter and they only get bright when I set it to be controlled through their control box. Here's hoping that I don't encounter the awful grinding noise so many people seem to get - I really do like the look of these fans.

Quite but does not feel like 44CFM
Update: After 6 Months of UseI run my PC about 18 hours/day everyday. It has been running for about 6 month with the fan and it started to make a mild rattling noise after about 5 months of use. It wasn't loud, but definitely audible enough that it was annoying. After 7 months, the rattling has stopped. I'm not sure if that means it's about to die, but it definitely is not a good sign of quality control. I've had cheap sleeve fans run longer then this without making a noise at 2x the RPM. If I had a choice, I would not buy these again. The amount of air blowing is also extremely low as you can actually see the fan blades spinning and barely feel the air on hand when it's right on top.----------------------------------------I bought it to replace a dead fan in my Thermaltake power supply, which seemed to be a sleeve fan that dried up got stuck. I purchased 3 of them from a seller on here called dealbarn that had it for a good price with low shipping price costing me $9.20/fan. This was a deal for a maglev bearing fan.Pros: The fan has clear fins and looks like it is well made. It comes with screws and an optional 4 pin molex adapter, so if you don't have the 3 pin motherboard connector, you can use the adapter. According to the box, it has 40,000 MTBF, which is lower then what i expected from a maglev bearing. I expected higher MTBF since it only spins at 1000 rpm. The nose level according to the box is 17 dBA. At 1000 +- 10%, it runs silent and i don't even hear any noise when my ears are next to it.Cons: Because the fan runs so slow, u can almost see the fans rather then it being a blur if it ran at above 1500 rpm. It does not feel like it pushes 44 cfm. i can barely feel the air blowing on my hand next to the fan. I'm a bit concerned that the fan will not blow enough air on my power supply. I'll probably replace it with higher rpm fan later. If u need a super quiet PC for audio recording or other audio visual use, then this is probably a good choice. However, if you need something for a gaming rig, even for an avg build, this is probably going to be too slow for rear or front fan.I recommend that you purchase a 1500 rpm or higher fan for most avg build PCs.I don't know how long it will last in the long run, but for my use, if i had to do it again, i probably would not have bought it. The air flow is just too low.

Great fans with a catch!
I got these fans for a steal at $6 and was pretty pleased with them at first; however, after a few months, two fan started to rattle really badly. Drove me nuts! I googled for some ideas and came across an idea of adding sewing machine oil to the bearing. Bought some singer oil and sure enough that did the trick! Fans are nice and quiet now. Hopefully, this works for those that had the same issueThe fans come off very easily by pushing the blades off the case from behind. Clean the metal rod, add/spread a few drops of oil, and pop it back on the case.

Brilliant
Well these arrived today and I swiftly installed one into my case and one went into my PSU. The PSU is now a lot quieter, no more squeaky fan and the ambient temperature in my case is a lot lower. From about 38*c to about 30*c. I also have another one of these, and a cpu cooler on the way to combine the two. The fan are rather quiet, but spin rather slowly also.Pro's:-Quiet-Cool-Looks-CheapCon's:-Clear wire (I hate clear wire btw)-Silver screws (prefer black to match the case)-Bit slowOverall:Top notch fan, does as a fan should, but slower and more quietly. Ideal for an already cool system that just needs that bit of silence added. I recommend !!

Good fans
Got these as they were on sale but turns out to be very quite and of good quality. Below 1000rpm very quite, above that I dont know yet as my system usually runs below 40 degrees
