## Overview

Polywatch Polisher is a 5g scratch remover designed specifically for plastic watch crystals. It effectively erases scratches and restores clarity by polishing with a cotton cloth, providing up to 10-12 uses per tube. Ideal for analogue plastic watches, it’s a quick, affordable DIY solution to keep your timepiece looking pristine without professional help.

## Description

How to use it? Apply polyWatch to crystal watch. Polish the scratch areas for 2-3 minutes with great pressure at a right angle to scratches, with a piece of cotton wool. Deep scratches need to be treated more than once. Finally, remove any polyWatch residue with a cloth. The contents of the 5ml tube is sufficient for approximately 10-12 applications. It may damage the screen if it is not plastic. Designed exclusively for plastic watches (not suitable for Apple Watch and ION-X lenses).

Review: it worked great!! - I got abit of scuffing & a minor but annoying little scratch on my fashion watch (which i brought before i knew what a decent watch was...i.e don't buy a fashion watch!!). i thought it would end up at the back of a drawer & this was after buying a nice Colareb watch strap for it to replace the cheap croc strap that was on it & to take the watch up a level or two. I don't know if its acrylic glass or just cheap glass thats not very scratch resistant but brought the polywatch as the last chance saloon for the watch. I put a bit on & rubbed it in with a lint free microfibre cloth for a few mins or so, then added a little more. after the first few mins could see that it had worked abit & after 10 mins of adding a little & rubbing it in, its now as good as new. I was expecting it not to work, but its a no brainer to buy & try & for me it worked better than expected, literally like new again.
Review: Fixed my sunglasses - Used this on my Oakley sunglass lenses as they were scratched and cloudy from old polarised film. Almost as good as new minus the polarisation, no distortion in the view when worn. Does take quite a while to apply in small circular motion using micro fibre cloth but the compound does cut it just takes a bit of work. Not the intended purpose of the product but I saw it on a horological YouTube Chanel and thought it might work.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could this be used on prescription eye glasses with a glass finish?**
A: I haven't used this on actual glass - particularly prescription glasses. I have only used it on poly watch crystals and the occasional poly CD/DVD. Given that the product specifically says it is for use on poly surfaces, and it's action is to slightly abrade and then fill the scratches with polymer I would be very cautious using it on glass, especially glass you have to see through. Given my experience and the instructions that came with the product, I would strongly discourage someone from trying this out on eyeglasses.

**Q: Does it work with hairline cracks?**
A: This product will not repair cracked crystals, hairline or otherwise. It works on scratches only, provided they are not too deep.

**Q: Can this be used on phone screen?**
A: This product is for plastic watch crystals. If you have a touchscreen phone it is most likely glass and there is a separate glass product that should work

**Q: What is the difference between the tubes that say "Plastic" and "Polish" on the ends?**
A: Never even noticed that. I have 2 tubes, one has the "Poly" in fat letters and the other thin, both have "Polish" on tube. No difference in the compound what so ever.
I would just say its a printing difference on tube, compound itself is probably no different than the other.
