They're lined with soft furry lining, really warm, and I can wear them happily all day long. That means a lot, coming from a person who really doesn't enjoy wearing shoes most days. They are lightweight, cute, great for walking, and fantastically stable on snow and ice. Water has never soaked through them, and I've been wearing them for years at this point, this is my second pair. I don't walk in rain or snow excessively, but you can't avoid it here in the winter, its a daily event. These are durable, I only replaced my first pair because our puppy got ahold of it. The pricepoint is awesome for the quality, comfort, support and slip resistance, they feel like a bargain even if you don't have my footwear issues. The zipper can be a little sticky, but not too bad. Pretty durable so far, I'm halfway through my 2nd winter with them and they look the same.
