Review: nice unit after working out a couple kinks - When I got my unit, it came in good condition. However it did not have the lid sensor as shown on sales page, and when placing my filter in, it had a notable gap that allowed unfiltered water to make it past. I was less concerned about the sensor, but contacted the company about the filter flaw. They responded right away, and sent out a new one without a hassle. The new one had the sensor, and other than that, there is no difference between the units. My filter fit snug and in place this time, and is working as intended. I am pleased with the quality of my new unit, and fast customer care and for that, I am giving it 5 stars. But I am making it aware if the lid sensor is a deal breaker, that you may want to contact the company first, and ask to buy it directly from them instead, as this seems to be a common issue [going by the reviews]. Otherwise, it's a nice unit. Bit pricey, but the water has been filtering well, and tastes great. I have no issues with it fitting in fridge, it's level, and no wobbles. I will revise if any issues with the spout, but so far it's working as intended-no drips, leaks, etc. Real happy with it so far.
Review: LOVE IT!! - Switching from water bottles to this has been such a great change. It’s so nice to not have a bunch of half drunk water bottles lying around my house. And I feel like my whole family has been drinking way more water. It’s big enough to fill up multiple 24oz cups throughout the day but still fits in the fridge nicely. It’s easy to fill up and filters almost half the amount of water it takes to fill up plus it leaves the water tasting just like plain water.

When I got my unit, it came in good condition. However it did not have the lid sensor as shown on sales page, and when placing my filter in, it had a notable gap that allowed unfiltered water to make it past. I was less concerned about the sensor, but contacted the company about the filter flaw. They responded right away, and sent out a new one without a hassle. The new one had the sensor, and other than that, there is no difference between the units. My filter fit snug and in place this time, and is working as intended. I am pleased with the quality of my new unit, and fast customer care and for that, I am giving it 5 stars. Switching from water bottles to this has been such a great change. It’s so nice to not have a bunch of half drunk water bottles lying around my house. And I feel like my whole family has been drinking way more water. It’s big enough to fill up multiple 24oz cups throughout the day but still fits in the fridge nicely. It’s easy to fill up and filters almost half the amount of water it takes to fill up plus it leaves the water tasting just like plain water.

We're glad this particular Brita was on sale, but we'd have purchased it at regular price even so. It's the right size for our drinking/cooking water usage and is very easy to maintain/fill/clean. It sits perfectly where we all can use and refill it very easily. The Brita is definitely excellent value for the money and it's a good quality filter system. It makes our water smooth and taste so good. No more chlorine taste or flick
