I wouldn’t say this is exactly red, but it’s a really nice watermelon shade… Just brighter! There’s definitely some pink and orange undertones in it, so the more layers you add, the more red and orange it becomes. One coat made it look like hot pink, two coats made it look more orange -red, and if I do three coats, it definitely looks more vibrant like a hot coral color. The pictures I attached are two coats. Not only is the color nice, but the gel consistency is good too. It does come out a little thicker than I prefer and the brush is a bit too fat, but it was easy enough to do some thin coats to prevent chipping. I cured each layer for 60 to 75 seconds on my highest heat setting, and with the clear coat I cured them for 99 seconds. I used a builder gel base. So far, so good. No chipping or peeling! The pictures attached are 5 days after application. Ordering the bubble gum pink color next! Watch for deals… I got mine at a discounted price of about $7. UPDATE : by FAR the best polish I’ve used in a while! Doesn’t chip or peel, and stays shiny for a long time. Just did sunset nails, and this neon red is perfect.
