## Questions & Answers

**Q: how do you clean these mats?**
A: Good question.  I have had my first one quite some time.  I try to felt lights on one side and darks on the other.  If it qets fuzzy/dirty,  I scratch it pretty aggressively with my fingernails and remove the piled up fuzz.  You will lift a small amount of the pads fibers with it but that's normal.   I  would not use a carder or anything similar...these are too aggressive and will loosen the wet felted surface of your pad making it collect your fibers even faster. You can also cover with a piece of commercial felt ( acrylic blend)  cut to the size of your pad.  This will collect most of the fiibers and can be removed when dirty. Hope this helps.

**Q: Why can't you pick your color?**
A: We only offer the green color right now. Once I make more color of the Felting mat and new UPC. I will list here. Welcome let me know what color you are looking for, maybe we can add that color to production. Happy Felting Jackie

**Q: i have been using my mat now frequently since Dec 2018. I notice it is now very thin in the middle. I keep flipping it over am I missing something?**
A: Because it’s made of wool I think that’s bound to happen.

As someone who has been needle felting for a number of years, I was in need of replacing my worn out foam pad for my needle felting projects. I love this needle felting wool pad-perfect portable size for needle felting on the go! Pros: 1. Small but not too small-works for most needle felting projects 2. Portable-no worries of it breaking when stuffing it in a purse or schoolbag 3. Hardy-will stand up to tens of thousands of needle pokes 4. Needles won't catch/rip up the wool mat 5. Needle felting projects catch quickly, allowing for faster needle felting 6. Minimal shedding of fibers on the mat Cons: 1. Small amounts of wool do get caught in the mat as they are both fibrous materials-this is easily remedied by turning your project often and using smaller needle pokes-project fibers can be removed with a short tooth comb or with fingers. 2. Has a tendency to warp slightly when doing a lot of projects-easily remedied by working the mat back and forth occasionally to restore shape.
