I want to use it as cushioning for exercises where I rest a dumbbell on my leg or hips.** A: The pad is very flexible and can easily be bent into a circle. My pad has the Velcro patches, but according to the new description, those have been replaced with a mesh bag. I bought several of the pads and just stack them on top of each other if I want added thickness. These pads are the best and most versatile ones that I have seen. They are not those rigid ones that some companies sell; I don't like those either. It should be great for resting dumbbells on your legs; they don't lose their cushioning when being bent. **Q: Is this latex free?** A: I can't say with 100% certainty, but the label says: "Made from NBR foam material" and "Non-toxic". -- Lou Sheehan **Q: Can I use this for Nordic curls?** A: First, I had to Google a "Nordic curl." The YouTube videos all appear to show much thicker knee padding than this pad. I use it for planks (elbows) and crunches (tail bone). I can tell you that after several years, it still "bounces back" to original form. You might want to consider using two of them, based on the videos. **Q: Is this non-slip on hardwood floors?** A: I use mine on low pile carpet, on hard floors it might slip, but if you put your weight on it it shouldn't.
