If you’re between sizes I say size down because I was using an XL of another brand & was ready to size down so a Large but this large was too big for me so I retuned for a medium and it works better but I may have couldn’t even went down to a small because of the allowance the Velcro gives. You want to start with it barely reaching so over time you can tighten. It’s super comfortable to wear & as a tall girl (5”10) I love the 3 straps because it allows me to cover my entire abdomen and go tightest on my smallest part of my waist in the middle. The Velcro on the back of the middle straps helps the others stay secured.
