The beads expand evenly and reach a good size after hydration. They retain water very well and release moisture gradually over time, which is exactly what I was looking for. There is no odor, the beads are clear and clean-looking, and they hold their shape without breaking down quickly. Although these are marketed for vase fillers, floral arrangements, and soilless planting, I personally use them to help maintain humidity for my pet snake during shedding. They’ve been extremely effective in providing consistent moisture without creating excess standing water. This has helped significantly when dealing with stubborn shed. Pros: • Large quantity for the price • Excellent water absorption and retention • Non-toxic and odor-free • Easy to prepare and clean up • Multi-purpose use Overall, this is a high-quality product that performs as advertised. I would absolutely purchase again and recommend to anyone needing reliable water-retaining beads for decorative, plant, or controlled-humidity purposes. Review: A little goes a loooong way! - I wasn't sure the size these swelled up to.. so I waaaay overestimated the amount that I needed. I'm now waiting for most of what I hydrated to dry back up! Beyond that fact, these are awesome! I needed to display an opal that I recently got that's unrefined and needs to stay hydrated. I got these glass jars and these beads to that it'll appear to float in the jar! It definitely does the job! Looks amazing! I will have to update this review on my phone at some point to take a pic to share the magic! ## Features - ABUNDANT QUANTITY: Includes a generous package of approximately 16,000 pieces of unhydrated clear beads. It did and I had leftover beads. I purchased a clear tote with snap on lid and filled it will 2 gallons of water. It was plenty. I added water and left overnight. It was 24 hours before the party. I could have added water several days out as well. After an hour or two the beads expanded more so the beads started to rise above the water line (as seen in the picture). I am very happy with this product. Will purchase again. ## Frequently Bought Together - ZTML MS 16000 Pieces Clear Water Gel Jelly Beads, Vase Filler Beads, Non Toxic Water Beads for Soilless Planting, Wedding Centerpiece, Floral Arrangement, Vase Filler (Clear) - 20 Pcs Floating Candles Centerpieces, 1.5 Inch Unscented Floating Candles Small Decoration for Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, Wedding, Holiday, Parties and Home Decor - FALAMON 140,000 Clear Water Gel Beads, Water Gel Beads for Vase Filler, Christmas Decoration, Wedding Centerpiece, Floating Candles, Planting, Floral Decorations --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/430964101-ztml-ms-60-000-pieces-clear-water-vase-filler-beads](https://www.desertcart.us/products/430964101-ztml-ms-60-000-pieces-clear-water-vase-filler-beads) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
