The apple shapes have a "non-stick" matte textured exterior, a medium chew, and don't leave residue on my teeth. The pleasant flavor is appley with a hint of tangy vinegar. It also contains some other nutrients as well, which is a plus. With 1000 mg from "the mother", I'm getting a decent dose of AVC in every serving.
