**Q: What is it made of?  Plastic? Paper? Wood?**
A: Essentially it's a bunch of hallow plastic triangles held together and hinged by the stickers. Stickers seem fairly durable but don't expect it to hold up long with regular use. It's the magnets that likely make this cost so much. OK novelty item if on a deep sale but not worth anywhere near full price IMO.

**Q: This one is so much more expensive than others....Is this one better than the ones that cost $7.99 or $8.99?**
A: The term "rare earth" can be misleading, as some of these metals can be[3][4] as abundant in the Earth's crust as tin or lead,[5] but rare earth ores do not exist in seams (like coal or copper), so in any given cubic kilometre of crust they are "rare". The major source is currently China.[6] Some countries classify rare earth metals as strategically important,[7] and recent Chinese export restrictions on these materials have led some to initiate research programs to develop strong magnets that do not require rare earth metals. It’s not a scam just because you don’t know something. I’ve bought one for each of my 3 kids and own several myself, they are solid quality and if you’re seeing the same product for $7.99-$8.99 it’s a cheep knock off. Absolutely worth the price.

**Q: How about a boy who is in 9th grade and loves the rubics cube?**
A: It probably won't entertain for as long as the rubics cube but I think someone that age would find it fascinating.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the box when not opened up into shapes?**
A: Each sideof Shashibo when in the Box is 2.25".  Hope that helps!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fascinating, Slightly Confusing… and Now I Want One

I bought the Shashibo Shape Shifting Box for my nephew, thinking it would be a quick distraction toy. What I didn’t expect was to spend a solid 20 minutes trying to figure it out myself while he patiently explained how it works. This thing is surprisingly addictive. It transforms into loads of different shapes, and once you get the hang of it, it’s genuinely satisfying to flip and fold into new designs. My nephew took to it quickly and now carries it around like some kind of pocket-sized puzzle wizard. The magnets feel strong and the construction is sturdy enough to survive enthusiastic hands. It’s compact, doesn’t require batteries (a huge win), and actually encourages problem-solving rather than just flashing lights and noise. That said, there is a slight learning curve. I definitely needed a moment (or several) to understand how to create the more complex shapes. There may have been some “I meant to do that” moments. Pros: ✔ Genuinely engaging and interactive ✔ Encourages creativity and problem-solving ✔ Strong magnets and solid build ✔ Compact and easy to carry ✔ No batteries required (parents rejoice) Cons: ✖ Slight learning curve at first ✖ May result in adults “borrowing” it Overall, this was a great gift choice.
