At work, our IT guys have a few monitors of this type but in a higher price range. But to have a companion screen for my laptop that's large, works in portrait mode, and at this price point? I'm sold! The quality of the screen is awesome. That's why I went with ASUS instead of some of the generic random-letter brands. The stand works great in either orientation (I am using it in Portrait mode now) and uses a 1/4x20 thread, meaning you could use countless photography accessory mounts with this thing. It's lightweight and the perfect size. The bag it comes with has actual padding inside. You can put the monitor in with the stand still attached and the cables. It comes with a USB-C cable for power and video - with a 90-degree connector on one side, so you don't risk wrecking the cable or the port by bumping it - and an HDMI-to-mini-HDMI cable. The monitor itself has a mini-HDMI port. I can't believe I waited this long to grab a display like this, but I'm glad I found this one when I did.
