This was by far the best protection and comfort out of the 4 I have tried. I took the metal plate and bent it around a 1/4 inch piece of pvc to form a U. My fifth metacarpal, pinky as well as my and ring finger fits inside and are fully protected and immobile. I 100% suggest this brace for anyone who has fractured or sprained their left hand/pinky.
