Although I see WOOD is offered in another listing for just $4 more. I thought that's what I was buying. This is a standard quality (student) shoulder rest. Fits all of my full size electric and acoustic violins. Still concern for the classic, problematic stripped screws on the height adjustment. This seems as though it will have the same issue in time. (Height adjusting screws usually strip out, at which point the height remains at lowest level.) Hopefully it won't so that for a long time, but that is usually the case with lower quality rests such as this one. I will buy the real wood one for my acoustic, and the "carbon fiber" looking one for my black electric violin.
