While this is intended for pigeons, I am using for chickens. I have hens who decided to lay under the coop which is built in such a way I cannot jack it up to see if someone is underneath. Concerned that a hen might be broody under there, I didn't want to board it up completely. I installed this so any hens could get out but not go back under the coop. Works great!! All hens are now out and accounted for. I will use this again in the future.
