Review: This stuff is AWESOME - I accidentally stumbled across this item while looking on Pinterest, and came to desertcart to check it out. I inherited a super ugly office desk in my office (nice quality desk just ugly and too heavy to move) and have been searching for months for an inexpensive and relatively easy way to make it look better. I saw this and the price was right so I figured I'd give it a shot. I fell in love with the Rustic pattern (my office is beach themed so it fits perfect). Order arrived quickly (within a few days after ordering) and as soon as I took it out I knew I made the right choice. I could not wait to get up this morning and head over to my office to start working on it. The product is a nice quality with a bit of a texture to it and slight sheen (but not too shiny). So far I've only done the top of my desk but I am SOOO happy with how it looks! It looks 1000x better already and makes it look trendy and more high end, fits so much better with my office decor. Application is pretty easy, just take your time and smooth as you go. Easily repositionable if you don't get it right the first time, seems to stick pretty well. I am already looking at what else I can wrap with this stuff once I finish my desk. I'm hoping it's pretty durable, will update my review with any problems I may encounter. UPDATE: finished my desk and still could not be more pleased with the outcome. Took 4 rolls so for about $30 I have a brand new beautiful desk. Super happy with the results.

However, it was super easy to put on, and it lasted several months with no issues. Withstood all of it, including hot pots and pans placed on directly on it. Then I got this color and the whitewood. The whitewood went on first, but it made my cabinet look yellow by comparison, like we've smoked in the kitchen with the windows closed for the last two decades. So this one went up. My only concern with it is the butcher block in the kitchen that's a different wood--if I could find a color that matched, I would be 10-stars happy. So I wasn't sure if it was going to look off, but it's fine, and this color is actually great, especially on its own. Of all four types of d-c-fix, I think this one went on the smoothest. I don't know why, it just did. It didn't create any creases that appeared out of nowhere, and it didn't get the bubbles like the others (the whitewood and blackwood got bubbles no matter how careful I was, I ended up just cutting them with an x-acto knife and deflating, it was that kind of annoying). My countertop is this gross heavy plastic material of some sort, with a sink, together they are one piece. It's ugly, but we just don't care enough to replace it yet, or ever, who knows. This is such an easy solution, and looks great for how easy it is and how cheap it is especially. Very happy.

I accidentally stumbled across this item while looking on Pinterest, and came to Amazon to check it out. I inherited a super ugly office desk in my office (nice quality desk just ugly and too heavy to move) and have been searching for months for an inexpensive and relatively easy way to make it look better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice film that looks like wood when photographed

I’m an artist and illustrator with a background in photography. I purchased this roll of decorative film to create a photography background for my illustration work that I post to social media. I was able to mount this film smoothly to an 18” x 24” MDF panel without much difficulty. Despite repositioning it a couple of times, it still adhered to the untreated panel very well. It went on very smooth and flat, with no bubbling or wrinkles. The instructions on how to mount the film are on the back of the roll and pretty self-explanatory. I’ve now used this this surface to shoot several flat lay images of my illustrations and it looks quite realistic. There is a slight surface sheen, but it’s matte enough for my needs. A thin layer of matte acrylic medium would probably eliminate this sheen altogether. Overall, I’ve very pleased with how this film looks in my photos and I will definitely consider picking up a few more rolls with realistic, natural textures if I don’t find the time to paint them myself. I have attached a couple of images that shot using the panel I made with this film for those who may be considering using it for flat lay photography, as I have. As you can see from the images, it looks pretty convincing as a wood surface.
